Sara Zarr, author of Story of a Girl, has created a wonderful story of identity, loss, and friendship. The story of Jennifer, an overweight and friendless young girl, who is befriend by Cameron. A traumatic event binds them together and she is bereft when Cameron suddenly is gone. Jennifer moves, her mother remarries, and she remakes herself in "Jenn" the pretty, popular girl with a good-looking boyfriend. Jennifer must decide who she really is and who her true friends are. I loved this book!

You know, I haven't been to ALA all year, I can't wait to get my hands on some ARCs in Philly!!!
