Someone gives Salim a ticket for the London Eye (a huge Ferris wheel in London). His cousins Ted and Kat see him get on - but he doesn't get off.
Where can Salim be? The police are called in, but the adults don't seem to be solving the crime. Ted, with his "special brain", comes up with some possible solutions to the mystery.
This well-written mystery is by the author of last year's Swift Pure Cry. One of the main characters suffers from an unspecified syndrome which he says makes him think "differently" (the descriptions make it sound like Aspergers). The resolution of the mystery may be too easily wrapped up for adult readers, but for the younger teens, it's perfect.

Several people have given this one high marks. I was told it is similar to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
