Life is hard for Dave, who works the graveyard shift at a convenience store, dealing with his friends who stop by for "free" beer and dreaming about the Goth girl who frequently stops by with her friends. Readers soon realize that things are even more difficult for Dave. He has been bitten by his boss and against his principles, is now a vampire. Dave bravely attempts to fight against his fate by drinking only bottled plasma from the local blood bank and developing a relationship with the girl of his dreams. Can he make this work?
I was reading this book on the train without my glasses, and it was tough going with the small print. However, I was determined to find out what happens, so persevered, in spite of some serious eyestrain and a headache. Very interesting ending.....
